IB PYP MYP IBDP Programmes
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a continuum of international education. The programmes encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and in their personal development.
Primary Years Programme(PYP IB)
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Primary Years Programme is a curriculum framework designed for students aged 3 to 12.
The PYP prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them. It focuses on the development of the whole child. The PYP nurtures independent learning skills, encouraging every student to take responsibility for their learning.
Middle Years Programme(MYP IB)
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) is for students aged 11-16.
A challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, the MYP is inclusive by design; students of all interests and academic abilities can benefit from their participation.
The MYP is a challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world.
The MYP is a five-year programme, which can be implemented in a partnership between schools, or in several abbreviated (two, three or four year) formats. Students who complete the MYP are well-prepared to undertake the IB Diploma Programme (DP) or Career-related Programme (CP).
IB Diploma Programme(IBDP)
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is for students aged 16-19.
Research suggests many benefits to choosing the DP. The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically. Source: http://www.ibo.org/en/programmes/
